‘Book of Boba Fett’ leak allegedly reveals an earth-shattering cameo

Star Wars loves a shocking revelation. Hell, “I’m your father” might be the biggest revelation in movie history. But now that Star Wars is primarily focused on television, how can that same energy be channeled into a shorter medium? The mandalorian Season 2 showed that the solution is to go big. Actually big.

The season 2 finale featured Mando becoming the rightful owner of the Darksaber, but it also featured the impressive appearance of Luke Skywalker, who arrived to care for Grogu and accompany him through his Jedi training. But a new leak suggests he might not be the only character from the original series to make an appearance.

According to the filter Nick santos, Han Solo can appear in The Boba Fett Book. Santos tweeted that Harrison Ford could reprise his role as Han Solo in a similar way to Mark Hamill’s role as Luke Skywalker in The mandalorian.

Santos claims that he has heard this from multiple sources, which is surprising considering how few leaks there have been from the Boba Fett Book place. This is likely due to the isolated shooting set and a crackdown on rumors, but this one has more credibility due to recent Lucasfilm actions.

Luke Skywalker’s appearance in The mandalorian left much to be desired. Lucasfilm

After Luke Skywalker’s disappointing aging in The mandalorian, a YouTuber created a revised shot that was much better than Lucasfilm came out and cast him. Why would the company bring it on board unless they were planning to do more aging in the future?

Of course, that could mean we’ll see more of Luke. That would fit the claims that The Boba Fett Book will serve as “The mandalorian Season 2.5 ”, as some leaks have suggested. But given that Boba Fett is a bounty hunter taking over Jabba’s crime empire, the only character from the original trilogy he’s likely to come across looks like it would be Han.

Could Han Solo return from his (future) disappearance in The awakening of the force?Lucasfilm

This would be a huge reveal for the fandom, who mourned Han’s death at the hands of their son in The awakening of the force. Bringing a younger Han back in all his sarcastic glory could be the key to bringing a whole new sector of Star Wars fans to this spin-off. He may not have Baby Yoda, but he might have both the most fearsome bounty hunter and his prized cargo of The Empire Strikes Back.

The Boba Fett Book premieres December 29 on Disney +.
