Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Insanity it’s easily the most anticipated MCU project of 2022. That’s especially considering what just happened in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) has just started learning what the multiverse is all about, foolishly thinking that it might have been his spell that triggered the events in No way home. However, the truth is much bigger than that. The current problems of the multiverse would not be possible without the events in Loki. Most Doctor Strange 2 is that it will include incredible cameos in the film because it is a multiverse adventure. And the multiverse allows Marvel to do whatever it wants. For example, a new report states Doctor Strange 2 will feature the Inhumans, in addition to all the other wacky cameos. Yes indeed, some MCU spoilers may follow below.

Marvel’s new superheroes

Marvel unveiled a surprising number of MCU Phase 4 titles in late July 2019, including various movies and TV shows. The latter was a new look to the MCU, made possible by Disney Plus.

Since then, Marvel has added many additional projects to Phase 4. But it has yet to announce the Avengers 5 sequel that so many fans are waiting for.

We’ve often explained that Marvel has to rebuild the MCU after the events of Final. The studio will introduce new heroes and villains and allow audiences to meet these characters before we hit massive crossovers like new. Avengers film.

Kevin Feige hasn’t announced plans on the Inhumans so far. But Phase 4 will include a lot of new equipment. We saw the Eternal earlier this year, and Doctor Strange 2 should introduce the Illuminati. Marvel announced the first Fantastic four movie and said he plans to do new X-Men projects in the future.

Separately, Marvel began setting up other teams, including the Thunderbolts and Young Avengers. Or rather, Marvel is setting the stage for epic crossovers in the future.

With that in mind, adding the Inhumans to the MCU’s roster of characters makes sense. And Doctor Strange 2 is the movie to introduce them.

Inhumans debut in Doctor Strange 2

Multiverse of Madness Rumor has it that the movie will offer some fantastic cameos. And that’s what fans have come to expect from a multiverse movie.

Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reverted to their Spider-Man roles to No way home, making the film a huge success. It’s not just the Spider-Man variants that were crossed. We also have five villains from previous Spiderman films. Then there were the smaller cameos from Charlie Cox and Tom Hardy.

Various Doctor Strange 2 Leaks said earlier this year that characters like Deadpool, Wolverine, Loki, X-Men from the Fox universe, and even Iron Man could appear in Multiverse of Madness. Adding Inhumans to the list seems sensible even if there are no immediate plans to use these heroes in the MCU stories.

Sources allegedly familiar with the matter reported Fandom wire that a particular Inhumans member will appear in Doctor Strange 2.

Inhumans leader Black Bolt will make his film debut as a member of the Illuminati group that Doctor Strange encounters. The report notes that Anson Mount will play the character. The same actor starred in the ephemeral Inhumans TV show that is not connected to the MCU.

What is more interesting about this? Doctor Strange 2 The Inhumans rumor is that Black Bolt was reportedly in the script prior to the new footage. Marvel kicked off a massive series of new footage a few months ago, after delaying the release of Multiverse of Madness. Rumors had it that Marvel wanted to fix some problems with the story and add more cameos. Then a recent leak says Marvel added a lot of cameos in the new footage.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Insanity It opens on May 6, 2022, which gives us almost half a year of waiting.
