Ericsson Singtel Achieves 54 Gbps Download Speeds Using New 5G SA Dual Radio Connectivity

NEW DELHI: Swedish manufacturer of telecommunications equipment Ericsson Y Singtel On Wednesday it said that they have reached maximum download speeds of 5.4Gbps using 5G standalone (SA) New dual radio connectivity (NR-DC).

The companies added Singtel’s spectrum holdings in the mid-band spectrum (3.5GHz) and the mmWave band (28GHz).

Ericsson and Singtel used Ericsson’s 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment and solutions and cloud-native dual-mode 5G Core network solutions, as well as a test device powered by the Snapdragon RF-modem. Qualcomm X65 5G to achieve download speeds.
