While there is some seemingly leaked information floating around about Twigs’ upcoming project, she has now addressed it herself.

A Twitter user posted a screenshot of a Genius page for a supposed Twigs project called Capri Sun, rumored to be the title, to be released on January 14, 2022. The partial track list includes “Tears In The Club”, as well as tracks called “Maji Claire”, “Darjeeling”, “Don’t Do It Again ”and“ Vice ”.

Another user shared that tweet and wrote: “. @ FKAtwigs I’m starting to get mad, can you please post it ????” Twigs replied, “This is wrong hahaha, nice try doe.”

Regardless, Twigs previously suggested that a new album would arrive at this time. In September, she told fans on Discord that when it comes to her next project (which will be a mixtape), she was “thinking of a Capri season,” presumably referring to the Capricorn season, so between the 22nd of December 2021 or around that date. January 19, 2022.

He also noted about the project: “It’s really deep, emotional and honest, but I hope more golden tears than blue I channeled my melancholy differently this time and it was so amazing. […] I did my next project thinking of all of you and my friends, it is to get ready, go out and be with people who make you feel good, put a little suntan lotion in the sink that glows on the bathroom floor. “
