Yae Miko release date

Based on the most recent leaks, we can expect Yae Miko to launch in the Genshin Impact 2.5 update on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.

Miko is expected to be the first banner released as part of Update 2.5, and while we don’t have an official release date for Update 2.5, following the release schedule above, February 16 is likely to be the destination.

Here’s the release schedule for the latest game updates, and it’s clear that there’s a 42-day pattern between each release date:

  • Genshin Impact 2.0 to Genshin Impact 2.1: 42 days (July 21 – September 1, 2021)
  • Genshin Impact 2.1 to Genshin Impact 2.2: 42 days (September 1 – October 13, 2021)
  • Genshin Impact 2.2 to Genshin Impact 2.3: 42 days (October 13 – November 24, 2021)
  • Genshin Impact 2.3 to Genshin Impact 2.4: 42 days (Nov 24, 2021 – Jan 5, 2022)

It was also recently confirmed what players can expect when it comes to Yae Miko’s artifact set as part of update 2.5.

According to TZ, who is a trusted leaker on the NGA forums, Yae Miko will be a primary DPS on the field, and his primary weapon will be a Catalyst.

As noted, previous leaks have indicated that Miko could inflict a large amount of electrical damage, and these latest leaks seem to support the idea that she will be primarily responsible for damage as part of a lineup.

It was also noted in the leaks that Yae Miko will also be using Shimenawa’s Reminiscense set. This makes sense, as Miko’s design resembles the artifacts themselves.
