Here are the leaked specs of Lenovo Legion 5 laptops coming to CES 2022 with Alder Lake

It should be noted that mspoweruser has not released the specifications for the new laptops. However, the 7th generation of the Legion 5 series will include Intel and AMD CPUs, specifically 12th generation Core and Ryzen 6000 CPUs.

The new Legion 5 laptops are almost identical to the previous generation. The most notable difference is the absence of a Y-shaped Legion logo on the lid. Lenovo now uses a written version of its gaming trademark, similar to Legion 7, with the exception that the logo is now centered. Unfortunately, Legion 7 is not included in this leak; however, it will most likely be published at a later date.

The Legion 5 Pro series was a popular pick among gamers, thanks to its 16-inch 16:10 165Hz display, Max-P GeForce RTX 30 graphics, and an affordable price / features ratio. The current model supports RTX 3070 mobile graphics with a TGP of up to 140W, but the revised model could include the more powerful RTX 3070 Ti, which NVIDIA plans to launch next year. That, however, has not been confirmed.

In terms of CPUs, the Lenovo 2022 Legion 5 series is expected to include Intel Core i7-12800H and AMD Ryzen 7 6800H processors, both of which will be unveiled at the CES 2022 press conferences in early January.

The Legion 5 non-Pro series is essentially a Pro with a 15-inch screen. The current version comes in three different resolutions: 1920 × 1080 60Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz. Due to the low coverage of the 45 percent NTSC color gamut, the 120Hz display does not provide a decent viewing experience.
