iQOO 9 series specs leaked, said to come with 50-megapixel camera

iQOO has now officially announced a launch in January 2022 for the flagship 9 and 9 Pro smartphones. The brand has also revealed that they will feature new camera technology.

iQOO, Vivo’s high-performance sub-brand, has in the past confirmed the display specifications as well as details regarding the next two devices in the iQOO 9 series, the iQOO 9 and the iQOO 9 Pro. The two phones Smartphones will be launched on January 5 in China.

Both smartphones have been officially listed on one of China’s leading e-commerce platforms, JD.com.

Both the iQOO 9 and 9 Pro are expected to launch in India as well, with rumors pointing to a release date for next month. Now MySmartPrice, in collaboration with famous insider Ishan Agarwal, has revealed the full spec sheet for both flagship phones.

The company will launch its new flagship smartphones on January 5. Starting with the Pro model, the phone will come with a 6.78-inch LTPO 2.0-type 2K 120Hz E5 AMOLED display with 517 PPI pixel density, 1,500 nits peak brightness, and 1,000 Hz touch sampling rate.

The iQOO 9 series will include a 50 megapixel main camera with gimbal stabilization. The iQOO 9 Pro would include an ultra-wide lens with a 150-degree field of view. On the other hand, the standard iQOO 9 variant is expected to come with a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view, and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 telephoto camera sensor. .

According to the company, iQOO 9 will be the first series of smartphones to feature Samsung’s 50MP GN5 sensor. It measures 164.8mm x 75.2mm x 8.8mm / 9.2mm depending on variant.

The smartphone will weigh around 204 grams and 210 grams for both variants, which includes the BMW Motorrad Edition.

Under the hood, the phones will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoCs paired with an upgraded 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS 3.1 storage overclocked version. Both phones will also sport a VC three-dimensional heat dissipation system.

Both phones are said to include 4700mAh batteries with support for 120W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging. The smartphones will run the latest Android 12 operating system out of the box.
