Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty Leaks Keep Coming

After a period of relatively strict control over the leaks, the next February set, Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, has been subjected to a series of cards that are spoiled early with low-quality cell phone camera images showing cards. sometimes damaged. We have published coverage of each of these leaks as they came to light; If you missed any of the articles from the last month, you can check them out here:

In the time since the first leak, Wizards of the Coast has given us a sneak peek (already planned) for the set, which included art, new basic land images with full art, and three official card spoilers. The preview also showed the symbol of the Neon Dynasty ensemble, which matched the symbol that could be seen in some of the leaks, apparently crediting its authenticity.

Today, two more images appeared on Reddit that apparently depict cards from Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. As is always the case with unofficial leaks, it is important to remember that there is no guarantee that these images will show actual cards that will be in the February release. However, these cards appear to be legit from what we can tell just by looking.

The two cards that were revealed are references to Eiganjo Castle, a Legendary Land card from Champions of Kamigawa, the first of Kamigawa’s original block sets. The first, Eiganjo, Seat of the Empire, is a remake of Legendary Land with a unique ability that allows its controller to discard it for a damage-based removal effect.

The art of Eiganjo, Seat of the Empire shown in the official WotC preview.

Interestingly, the art and name for Eiganjo’s card, Seat of the Empire, was provided as part of the official Wizard sneak peek. So we know the card title is correct, but the art is different from what was shown (pictured above). However, this probably doesn’t count much against the authenticity of the leak, as cards in modern Magic games generally have multiple variants that often include different layouts. This is supported by the fact that the leaked card art also appears to represent a different version of the same location.

The second card is also a reference to Eiganjo, but this time in a strange, almost symmetrical token that generates sorcery. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the cards themselves! Transcripts for each image are provided below.
