Kerala SSLC Syllabus 2022 – Download Class 10th Topics for Upcoming Board Exams

At a recent press conference, Kerala Education Minister Vi Sivanputty announced the dates for the SSLC and Plus Board exams of 2021-22. Both exams will take place during the period from March to April, while the practical exams will take place during the period from February to March 2022. A few hours later, a detailed notice about the board exams was published on the official website. SSLC 202 Accordingly, the High School Certificate of Completion (SSLC) exams are scheduled from March 31 to April 29, 2022.

The SSLC 2022 newsletter covers all aspects of the exam, such as the calendar and timing, the syllabus for each subject, the grading scheme, the exam pattern, and many more. Recently, the State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) published the focus areas for the SSLC Class 10 2022 Board Exams. These focus areas have been uploaded to the official website These focus areas form the foundation and define the syllabus for this year’s final exams.

As is evident from the focus areas, SCERT has not reduced or eliminated any part of this year’s Kerala SSLC 2022 syllabus, in any of the subjects. Therefore, the curriculum will remain as in previous years. Commenting on the curriculum, SCERT clarified that each student has a different aptitude and a different admission capacity. This ability must be respected when specifying the study program. So, rather than narrowing down the syllabus, the council found it more pertinent to publish the key focus areas. This will help students of different intelligence levels prepare and perform well on their exams.

Based on SCERT feedback, the following is an overview of the topics that are expected to appear in the SSLC Kerala SSLC 2022 board exams:

Math: Arithmetic sequences, Mathematics of chance, Circles, Equations of the second degree, Geometry and algebra, Trigonometry, Coordinates, Polynomials, Tangents, Solids, Statistics

English: Reading Comprehension, Writing, Pronoun, Adjective, Verb, Punctuation, Conjunction, Sentences, Tenses, Sentence Transformation, Vocabulary

Geography: India: The Land of Diversity, Seasons and Weather, Human Resource Development in India, Eyes in the Sky and Data Analysis, Terrain Analysis through Maps, In Search of the Source of the Wind, Resource Wealth from india

Civic Law Science: Public Administration, Civic Awareness, State and Political Science
