Chelsea’s color scheme for their 2022/23 away kit has been released, based on the latest images from Footy Headlines.
The Blues are approaching the middle of the 2021/22 Premier League season and are currently playing in a yellow away kit.
Thomas Tuchel’s team plans for the 2022/23 campaign are already underway, with the color scheme of the third kit previously leaked.
According to Footy Headliners, Chelsea will have a white away kit with turquoise stripes.
They write: “Sharing its colors and theme with the home jersey, the Nike Chelsea FC 2022-2023 away jersey is predominantly white with four teal hoops that feature the same pattern that could be seen on the collar of the home jersey.”
The colors are officially named ‘White, Chlorine Blue and College Navy’.
This will replace Chelsea’s current away team, a highly rated yellow stripe that has received much praise from Blues fans.
Next year’s strip will see Chelsea wear white shorts with navy blue socks as ‘Chelsea FC – London’ is printed on the inside of the shirt collar.
However, this kit is just a leak and has not been officially confirmed as next season’s away kit, so there could still be changes to the strip.
The Blues had already donned white uniforms in the 2012/13 season, with a blue diagonal stripe across the jersey. The following year, the 2013/14 season, he saw another white jersey for the Blues.
Most recently, Chelsea wore a white away uniform during the 2019/20 season with Frank Lampard.
