Oppo is working on its next flagship, which may be known as the Find X4 Pro or Find X5 Pro, but whatever the case, the schematics are already available.
- The first versions of Oppo Find X5 Pro have been leaked and show a familiar design.
- The Find X5 Pro may end up looking similar to the Find X3 Pro.
- However, the strange design of the camera is what will turn heads.
Oppo’s next flagship may be called the Find X4 Pro or the Find X5 Pro, although the latter has come to make more sense. Regardless, this flagship phone will be important to the company as it aims to slowly break into the ultra-premium market. And that’s why the phone’s specs have to be top-of-the-line. But looks also matter. We are probably looking at what could be the first versions of the Oppo Find X5 Pro and it looks very similar to the Find X3 Pro.
Schematics for Oppo’s flagship phone are courtesy of @OnLeaks, but there’s no way to tell if the renders belong to the Find X5 Pro or the Find X5. Given that the focus of attention will be on the Find X5 Pro, it seems safe to assume that the renders show Oppo’s next flagship. And there’s a familiarity to the Find X5 Pro’s design, based on these renders.
The back of the Oppo Find X5 Pro looks very similar to that of the Find X3 Pro that the company released earlier this year. The camera bump has slopes around it, giving it a plateau look. But while that part is incredibly similar to what the Find X3 Pro has, the camera sensors inside are strangely housed. While two sensors are positioned opposite each other, the other two sit next to them in a capsule-shaped enclosure. There is also an LED flashlight.
If you take a closer look, the microscope camera is not available on this phone. This means two things: these renders either belong to the Find X5 or that Oppo has finally given up on the microscope sensor trick. The telephoto camera is also not visible in the schematics, which may be an indication that these renders may not be from the Find X5 Pro, but again, the Find X3 Pro removed that sensor as well. So, everything is possible.
Whatever the camera design, Oppo may be throwing out an element of weirdness this time around. That means there is no symmetry or pattern in the design and perhaps an acquired taste for such unique looks is what will make the phone successful when it arrives.
In terms of specs, the Oppo Find X5 Pro is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, while the Vanilla Find X5 may use the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. Previous rumors have suggested that the Find X5 Pro will come with a display. 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED with up to QHD + resolution, while the Find X5 can have the same screen size with just one FHD + panel. The Find X5 Pro can use at least two 50-megapixel cameras in the rear system, and one of them can be the Sony IMX766 sensor. There may also be a 5000mAh battery inside with 80W if not 125W charging stand.
