PS5 File leaked for Horizon Forbidden West

The game is huge, with differences in size between North America and Europe

Horizon Forbidden West is one of the most anticipated games of 2022. How could it not be, with the word of being able to explore a strange and wonderful new world, and being able to go up against enemies like a fire-breathing mammoth and the Sunbird? But for those who plan to buy a copy, it is better to clear space on your PS5. The size of the North American and European versions has been leaked, and the new Horizon game is huge.

For the North American version, the game will be 85,913 GB; in other regions of the world, it will be 96,350 GB. The difference is said to be due to different language requirements imposed by the European Union.

And this is currently ahead of the day one patch coming out at the Horizon Forbidden West launch. So the game may take up even more space, with patches to come in the future, not to mention potential DLC.

However, these may not be the final numbers for file size when it comes to Horizon: Forbidden West. These were found by a fan, who also claims that there may be a 10-20GB difference. As Guerrilla Games and PlayStation have yet to comment or confirm that this is the actual size of the game, it is best taken as a tentative estimate at best.

Still, it is something to keep in mind, especially if operating with a PlayStation 5 that has very little storage space. However, it does mean that there will surely be a lot of great graphics and more when it comes to the game itself.

Horizon: Forbidden West can be preloaded on February 11, 2022 and will be released on February 18, 2022 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
