Pune: Two more arrested in Health Department question paper leak case

Pune City Police arrested two more people in connection with the ongoing investigation into the leak of the Maharashtra Health Department Recruitment Exam Questions Document. The police have identified the two defendants as Namdev Karande (23) from Gaya Nagar in Beed district and Umesh Mohite (24) from Umarga in Osmanabad district.

With this, the number of arrests in this case has reached 14. Among those previously arrested are Mahesh Botle (53), Deputy Director of the National Health Mission, Mumbai, Prashant Badgire (50), Administrative Director in the office of the Latur-based Deputy Director of Public Health, and Prakash Missal (40), a serviceman in the Beed District Navy who was stationed in a naval training.

The Health Department exam questionnaire for Grade C and D employees was leaked and circulated through phone messaging platforms. The examination was conducted on the afternoon of October 31, but the document was leaked the same day in the morning.
