We’ve seen leaks for the Galaxy Tab S8 series for the better half of last year and the details get more concrete with each passing day. The latest details include detailed specifications for the Tab S8 Ultra model.
The display is expected to measure a spacious 14.6 inches and will offer a 2,960 x 1,848 px resolution. Like previous high-end Samsung tablets, you’ll get a Super AMOLED panel and offer a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The Tab S8 Ultra’s bezels are said to measure just 6.3mm, but the notch will obscure those readings a bit.
The notch will probably be one of the most discussed aspects of the Tab S8 Ultra, although it will serve to install two 12MP cameras. The most impressive feat is that the Tab S8 Ultra’s measurements are said to be 208.6 x 326.4 x 5.5mm, which would be impressive given that the overhang Tab S7 + is 285 x 185 x 5.7 mm. The flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset will be backed by 8, 12 or 16 GB of RAM, while the storage will vary between 128, 256 and 512 GB.

The Tab S8 Ultra will house an 11,200 mAh battery that supports 45 W charging, but it remains to be seen if such a charger will be provided in the box. Its rear will house a 13MP main camera along with a 6MP ultra-wide snapper. The software front will be covered by One UI 4.1 on top of Android 12 and is said to feature a new Extra Dim mode for less eyestrain and a portrait mode version of Samsung DeX.
