Two more held in Maharashtra exam paper leak case

Continuing their action against the alleged irregularities in various recruitment examinations, the police in the Pune district of Maharashtra arrested two people and registered a new case in connection with the leak of paper in the Recruitment Examination of Group C of the Department of Salud, an official said Tuesday.

The Pune cyber police station had previously recorded a crime for the alleged leak of paper in the recruitment examination of Group D of the Department of Health.

At least 18 defendants, including Mahesh Botle, deputy director (non-technical) of the National Health Mission; Prashant Badgire, administrative director of the Department of Health stationed in Latur; and Dr. Sandip Jogdand, a doctor at Ambejogai Mental Hospital in Beed District, were arrested in that case.

Mr. Botle, Mr. Badgire and Dr. Jogdand are also involved in the present case, said Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta.

“During the investigation, it was found that one of the defendants, Nishit Gaikwad, had allegedly leaked the document from the Group C recruitment examination, which took place on October 24, and circulated it through an agent in exchange. of money, ”said Mr. Gupta said.

“We have arrested Mr. Gaikwad and a Rahul Linghot in the present case,” he said.

According to the police, this is the fifth violation recorded in relation to paper leaks and malpractices in the results of various exams, including the Department of Health Group C and D recruitment exams, the MHADA recruitment exam, the Test 2020 and 2018 Teacher Eligibility Guidelines.

Up to 28 defendants have been arrested in connection with the cases.
