It seems that Amazon hasn’t finished delivering new gifts for the holidays.
On Friday morning, Valorant’s highly anticipated 18th Agent finally leaked when the Prime Gaming website apparently revealed a new key art promo for the character a little earlier than it was supposed to. Here’s the first look at Valorant’s new agent named Neon, according to @ValueLeaks.
As ValorLeaks tweeted, the new Agent was quite casually revealed on Prime Gaming Valorant’s loot website as their new cover photo.
Immediately, what stands out from the picture is that the look of the new agent fits perfectly considering it has been codenamed “Sprinter.”
With glowing eyes and skin marks, and only a trail of lightning left in the way of those she left behind in the dust, the new Agent looks as exciting as leaks and trailers have hyped her up.
From various voice lines added to the game with the recent release of Chamber, the community has been able to decipher some main features to expect from the newest Agent.
She preaches her skills around speed, which has convinced some that she will be the duelist of “counter Jett”. She is also a native of the Philippines, and will be one of the youngest playable characters in the game, if not the youngest.
On Riot’s latest State of the Agents dev blog, Valorant character producer John Goscicki also had a short series of sentences to add about the next hero.
“Mga kaibigan ko,” said Goscicki, which translates to “my friends” from Tagalog. “Starting next year he is an Agent who can outperform the rest of the roster, impacting the competition and sliding straight into the fight.”
With only Episode 3 – Act 3 Battle Pass scheduled to end on January 11, 2022, fans of Valorant won’t have to wait much longer for what is shaping up to be an exciting Episode 4.
