Vivo is preparing for the launch of a new Y-series smartphone. The company will launch the Y21T early next month. MySmartPrice exclusively reported on the Vivo Y21T launch date. The smartphone will debut in India on January 3 according to our sources. Ahead of the official launch, we’ve received the full spec sheet for the upcoming Vivo smartphone, courtesy of insider Mukul Sharma. According to Sharma, the Vivo Y series smartphone will launch in a single storage option. It will also come in two color options. Vivo Y21T will be launched in India as a new low budget smartphone under Rs 20,000. Before launch, we have the full specifications of the device. The phone will sport a 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen with a Full HD + resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels. The phone will support a 90Hz refresh rate and have a 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio.

On the back, the phone will sport a triple camera setup. As previously reported, the device will have a 50MP main camera. It will be accompanied by a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone will have an 8MP front camera.

The device will come with 4GB of RAM. It will also support Vivo’s extended RAM feature and offer an additional 1GB of RAM from the 128GB internal storage. The device will pack a 5000mAh battery under the hood and support 18W fast charging. It will draw power from a Snapdragon 680 SoC.

In terms of software, the phone will run Android 11-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box. It measures 164.26 x 76.08 x 8mm and weighs about 182 grams. The phone will have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It will come in two colors: Midnight Blue and Pearl White.
