We’ve seen quite a few Xiaomi 12 leaks in the last few months, and with the series launch just days away (December 28), we’ll soon find out which ones were accurate and which ones were fake. But a recent specification leak has already proven wrong.
On Christmas Eve, tech fan site Xiaomiui shared some details about the phone: apparently, it will have a 6.28-inch 1080 x 2400 120Hz AMOLED screen, three rear cameras with a 50MP main camera, and a 20MP selfie snapper. , 67W load and a 4,500mAh. drums and speakers tuned to Harman Kardon.
We already know some of those things, like its 6.2-inch screen, because Xiaomi has previously shown some phone specs for its Mi 12 phone; other things, like the 67W power, have been previously leaked but not confirmed.
However, Xiaomi confirmed another specification on Christmas Day. Through his Weibo channel, he confirmed that the Xiaomi 12 series will get 32MP selfie cameras, which contradicts the leak and also makes us doubt some of the other specifications.
We also found the screen resolution, load speed, and main camera resolution aspects of the initial leak curious, so it’s possible these are wrong too, but with the Xiaomi 12 launch just days away, no. we have to wait a long time until we find.
However, the most intriguing parts of Xiaomi’s flagships are not the specs, but the software and camera features, so a list detailing the Xiaomi 12 hardware probably won’t fully reflect the phone we’ll see in a few. days.
Price is also a big consideration when buying a Xiaomi phone, since the cost is usually much more competitive than the equivalent of Samsung, Apple or OnePlus; however, we may not hear it on the 28th as it is a China-only release. , and we expect to see a global launch of the phone in early 2022.
TechRadar will cover the Xiaomi 12 launch with a blog and live analysis, so check back during the day to find out.
